Fashion forward / Fashion fur ward

השבוע הראשון של תחילת הסמסטר החל בסערה. הלחץ והעומס מחוללים סערה בראשי ובד בבד הטמפרטורות בחוץ יורדות והגשם מטפטף לו. המטלות נערמות כאילו מעולם לא יצאנו לחופשה ומכסת שעות השינה קוצצה באופן משמעותי. בתוך כל השגעון הזה ארע השבוע מאורע מאוד מרגש ומשמח. יציאת הגליון הראשון של מגזין האופנה האינטרנטי הראשון, הלוא הוא Fashion Forward. ראשית אני שמחה עבור שלי ועפר היפות והאמיצות שיצאו להרפתקה אדירה ומציגות תוצר מרשים, איכותי וכיפי. שנית, אני שמחה על ההזדמנות שניתנה לי להיות נערת השער ועוד על רקע הבריכה היפה שבקיבוץ איילון. אתם כמובן מוזמנים להתרשם בעצמכם מהמגזין, מההפקה ומאיור שלי אשר נמצא בעמוד האחרון.
במדור "לפרק את הטרנד" שכותבת נורית בת יער עבור המגזין נכתב השבוע על הטרנד המנומר. אני חייבת להתוודות שעל אף חיבתי הגדולה למנומר, ברשותי שני פריטים מנומרים בלבד - תיק וכפפות. וכך הצטלמתי לי כשבידי התיק המנומר שסבתי קיבלה במתנה מסבי בשנות ה- 70 לאחר שחזר מטיול באפריקה. יש יסוד סביר להניח כי פרוות הנמר היא אמיתית, אך התיק כבר ברשותי והוא לא פחות ממהמם ולכן החלטתי להשתמש בו על אף הקונוטציה השלילית ורחמי על הנמר המסכן, דילמה לא פשוטה.

פורים שמח ומבדח!

This week was the launching of Fashion Forward magazine. The amazing Shelly and Ofer are responsible for it and I had the honor to be the first cover girl. So fun and exciting!
This week on the magazine there was a column about the leopard trend, what made me realize that in spite my great sympathy for it I only have two speckled garments in my closet - a small bag and a pair of gloves. That's the bag which my grandma got as a present from my grandpa in the seventies when he returned from Africa. There is a reasonable chance that it is real leopard fur but I decided that since I already own it I would use it anyway, quite a dilemma though. what do you think?

Bodysuit suit

מזה זמן מה בגדי הגוף מככבים על מדפי החנויות. לי עצמי יש בארון מספר בגדי גוף, שרידים מהתקופה בה פקדתי את שיעורי הבלט באופן קבוע. איני מרבה ללבוש אותם וזאת בעיקר משום שחסרים להם את התיקתקים הכה חיוניים שם למטה אי לכך לבישתם הופכת את החיים המסורבלים ממילא למסורבלים עוד יותר.
מסתבר שבאנגלית ישנן מילים נפרדות לשני סוגים של בגדי גוף: מילה עבור בגדי גוף המשמשים לצרכים אתלטים (leotard ) ומילה אחרת עבור בגדי גוף לשאר המטרות (bodysuit). דרך אגב יש גם מילים נוספות לתיאור בגד גוף המכסה גם את הרגליים (Unitard) או כזה העשוי ויניל (Catsuit) ואף כזה העשוי מגרביון (Bodystocking), מה שגרם לי להרהר על דלות השפה העברית בכלל ובתחום האופנה בפרט. בכל מקרה על פי ויקיפדיה בגד הגוף (bodysuit) מיועד ללבישה עם מכנסיים/ חצאית, כהלבשה תחתונה או כפריט יסוד. כנראה שהערך לא ממש עודכן מאז עלייתה של ליידי גאגא לשילטון, אשר שברה את כל החוקים (כמובן שלא רק את חוקי הבגד גוף) והחלה ללבוש את בגד הגוף כבגד בפני עצמו. ממש כך.

It's been a while since the bodysuits did their comeback. I have a few bodysuits myself from the days I used to dance but I don't wear them very often as they are not so comfortable.
In Wikipedia it is written that :"A bodysuit may be worn as a top for the smooth line it gives or because it cannot become untucked from one's trousers or skirt. They may also be worn by men and women as underwear, activewear, or foundation garments. Unlike the similar leotard, a bodysuit is not a form of athletic wear." I guess there was no update since Lady Gaga took over,
she broke all the rules and began wearing a bodysuit just the way it is. As simple as that.

הקיץ שנחת עלינו פתאום בפברואר תפס אותי לא מוכנה. עדיין לא מיציתי את לבישת הז'קטים והסוודרים ופתאום הגיעה דרישה מלמעלה לשלוף חולצות קצרות ולהחזיר את הגרביונים למגירה. אז הייתי אצל הקוסמטיקאית וכעת הרגליים שלי מוכנות לחצאיות אך לבנות כאילו אני עדיין לובשת גרביונים לבנים.

חצאית הפליסה החורפית הזו (אשר עשויה צמר לא דק בכלל) נקנתה אי שם בחטיבת הביניים בחנות יד שנייה בקינג ג'ורג' שנסגרה בינתיים. היא עלתה אז 70 ש"ח, סכום מכובד מאוד על פי מושגי התקופה ההיא, בה התפרנסתי מדמי כיס. אין ספק כי בדיעבד היא היתה לגמרי שווה את זה. בשל הצבעוניות הסוכרייתית שלה היא לכאורה משתלבת רק עם שחור או לבן אבל העניין הוא שאז מתקבל דיסוננס חד מדי בין צבעוניות החצאית לשקט של החלק העליון. לכן החלטתי לרקוד על כל החתונות ולשדך לה חולצה צבעונית במיוחד, מן הפוך על הפוך שכזה.

ואספר סיפור קצר רק כדי להמחיש עד כמה עזה צבעוניות החולצה: לפני מספר חודשים, בבוקר לחוץ במיוחד בעת אני מורחת לק בחיפזון שטני, ניתזו מספר טיפות ענק של לק כחול (מטאלי) על החולצה ומעולם לא ירדו בכביסה, ועם זאת הן כמעט בלתי נראות. ממש מזל משמים.

ובחזרה למזג האויר. עקב החום הפתאומי, נתקלתי בתסבוכות מדי בוקר השבוע בעודי מחפשת מה ללבוש. החום עושה לי חשק עז ללבוש שמלות קצרות וצבעוניות שייראו מצויין עם ג'קט קטן או קרדיגן. שיטוטים אינטרנטיים הובילו לתוצאות נהדרות במיוחד שייאלצו מהסיבה הברורה להישאר בגדר חלום.

Back than we used to call it simply clothes

כשהיינו בכיתה ח', חברתי נינה ואני נהגנו לדבר הרבה על אופנה (האמת שאז קראנו לזה פשוט בגדים) והגענו למסקנה שעל אף אהבתנו הרבה לחצאיות ושמלות אין לנו לאן ללבוש אותן מלבד לארוחות משפחתיות רבות משתתפים בהן קוראים את ההגדה. בכיתה ח עוד לא ממש נהגנו לצאת לבלות ולבית הספר זה נראה לנו יותר מדי חגיגי וגם לא ממש מקובל. חשבנו וחשבנו ובסופו של דבר הגענו למסקנה שהדרך היחידה להשמיש את חצאיותינו היא להתחיל ללבוש אותן ללימודים למרות הכל. קבענו יום ובו שתינו באנו עם חצאית ומאז אותו יום הדבר הפך ללגיטימי עבורנו, ועם הזמן נראה לי שגם עבור אחרות. החצאית שבצילום היא אותה חצאית שנלבשה בפעם הראשונה לבית הספר (בשילוב עם טי שירט אדומה וסניקרס, אם אתם מוכרחים לדעת), היא היתה של אמי בצעירותה ועד היום היא משרתת אותי בנאמנות.

חוץ מזה אתמול היתה ההגשה האחרונה בהחלט שלי לסמסטר הנוכחי! כעת נותר לי עוד שבוע של חופש אמיתי, בלי מטלות לימודיות שטורדות את מנוחתי. מזג האויר התאים עצמו לאווירת החופש הגדול והחליט להתחפש לקיץ (פורים טרם הגיע, חבוב) ונראה לי שאם הייתי קצת יותר חברה של השמש והחול וודאי הייתי מבלה את היום בים.

When my friend Nina and I where in the 8th grade we used to talk a lot about fashion (well actually back than we used too call it simply clothes), we were bothered by the fact that we have plenty of skirts and dresses that we only wear to family dinners. At that time we didn't go out that much and we thought that skirts might seem too fancy for school. After long hours of thinking we figured out that the only way to change things is to start wearing our skirts to school, despite all. We set up a date in which both of us came to school wearing skirts and from that day on it became legitimate for us and I believe that for others as well. That skirt is the skirt I wore on that day (with a red T shirt and sneakers, if you have to know), it used to be my mom's when she was young and to this day I dress it very often.

בתוך הרוח והגשם שבחוץ הצלחנו למצוא פינה קטנה ושמשית לצלם בה. כפי שבטח חלקכם שמו לב, אני מאוד אוהבת להצטלם לבלוג תוך כדי קפיצה. יש בזה אתגר מסויים, קלילות וזה תמיד יוצא נחמד וכיפי וזאת כמובן רק בתנאי שהדבר אינו כרוך בנחיתה על עקבים. במהלך כל החורף חיפשתי נעליים שטוחות שחורות שיהיו משהו בין נעלי סירה למוקסין, לא נשיות מדי אך גם לא גבריות, והכי חשוב - נוחות. בשבוע שעבר מצאתי סופסוף את מבוקשי, נעליים חמדמדות מעור שחור, בעלות חרטום מעט מחודד ופפיון בד גדול בחזית. קלאסיקה על זמנית ואופנה בת זמננו שילבו ידיים והצטרפו לארון הנעליים שלי, אין מאושרת ממני.
את חולצת הפייזלי קיבלתי מסבתי אשר תפרה אותה בעצמה לפני זמן רב. היא כמובן עשויה בקפידה מבד כותנה נעים ועל אף שבתחילה מעט חששתי מהדוגמא המעטרת אותה במהרה החלטתי שדווקא זו הסיבה לחבב אותה. יש בה משהו שמזכיר לי קצת את דיאן פון פירסטנברג, משהו מההדפסים של דריס ואן נוטן והרבה שיק סבתאי טוב.

Some of you have probably noticed that I like to have my blog pictures as I'm jumping. It involves some challenge and fun, never in heels though. All winter I've been looking for a decent pair of black shoes, something between ballet flats and moccasins, between feminine and masculine and most important - I wanted them to be comfortable. last week I finally found what I was looking for. A great pair of black shoes that simply has it all and even includes a big bow at the front. so classic yet so fashionable.
About the shirt, I got it from my grandma who sewed it herself a long time ago. it is well sewed and made out of a fine paisley patterned fabric. at the beginning I wasn't sure about this pattern but later I decided that's exactly what I like about the shirt. It reminds me a bit of Diane Von Furstenberg, has a slightly thing in common with Dries Van Noten and it has lots of good granny chic.
