En Puerto Madero

במסגרת הטיול שלי ושל דניאל, החבר שלי, לבואנוס איירס הוזמנו השבוע לחתונה. כאן בארגנטינה החוק מחייב חתונה אזרחית על מנת להירשם כזוג נשוי ולכן זוג יהודי עורך לרב שני טקסים - דתי ואזרחי. האזרחי נערך לעתים במוסד ממשלתי המיועד לכך, על ידי שופט ולעתים משלמים לשופט על מנת שיערוך את הטקס באולם עם מוזמנים, כך היה בטקס אליו בו נכחנו השבוע. הטקס נערך בארבע אחר הצהריים (שעה מעט מוזרה לאירוע הנערך באמצע השבוע...) ממש על יד הנמל- "פורטו מדרו". זה איזור מאוד יוקרתי בו יש כמה מהדירות והמשרדים היקרים ביותר בבואנוס איירס ועל כן גם המסעדות והחנויות בנמל מתומחרות בהתאם.

גם החתונה היתה ברוח המקום, מאוד אלגנטית והדורה. הגברים ללא יוצא דפן בחליפות ועניבות וכל הנשים על עקבים (גם אני כמובן החלפתי את המגפיים שלי) רב העניין שלי באירוע הסתכם בסקירה של לבוש המוזמנים זאת מאחר והאירוע היה רווי באנשים אופנתיים ובנאומים בספרדית שלא יכולתי להבין...

As part of the my vacation with my boyfriend at Buenos Aires we were invited to his friends' wedding. Actually there were two ceremonies for the same wedding - a civil ceremony and a religious one. The civil took place this week at 4:00 PM (strange hour for a wedding...) near the port named "Puerto Madero". It is located in a very prestigious area where most of the restaurants and shops are very elegant and expensive.
The wedding had the same kind of spirit, very fancy and elegant. The men wore suits and ties and the women wore high heels (I changed my boots to high heels too). Anyway most of my interest in this event was focused on the clothes people wore, that's because the ceremony was full of fashionable people and speeches in spanish I couldn't understand...

AT magazine - this week

לכל מי שטרם ראה את הכתבה ב"את"...

הכתבה המקיפה ביותר שנעשתה עד כה בארצנו הקטנטונת על הבלוגספירה האופנתית שרוחשת כאן בישראל. חוץ מזה שהיה כיף ומרגש, היה לי סופסוף הכבוד והעונג להכיר את שלי (אוסף פרטי), אנה (that's my dress), דר (אפונה) ועפר (cupcakes).

ובינתיים, בארגנטינה הרחוקה אנחנו מבלים היטב. התחוור לי בימים האחרונים שבואנוס איירס היא לא מקום טוב לקניות. אמנם טעם טוב לא חסר פה אבל החנויות פה מתחלקות לשני סוגים: חנויות יפהפיות ויקרות להחריד (לא ברור איך הם קונים בגדים שהרי המשכורות נמוכות בהרבה) או חנויות עם מחירים שפויים אך זבליות לחלוטין... לשמחתי הרבה יש חנויות וינטג' רבות והם התקווה היחידה שלי לשופינג בחופשה הזו, כמו שאמרה אנה בכתבה אין כמו טאץ' של וינטג כדי להשאיר חותם אישי.

The photos above are from an article that was published this week at "AT" magazine. It was the biggest publication so far about the Israeli fashion blogsphere and I'm glad and proud that I was a part of it. Besides the fun I had I'm really thrilled I had the chance to meet the other girls whose blogs I constantly read.
In the meanwhile, here in Buenos Aires we are having the best time. I've realized it's not a place for shopping, everything is either extremely expensive or extremely crappy. At least there are lots of vintage shops, my only hope for some shopping...

לאחר טיסה סופר ארוכה לצד השני של העולם (5 שעות למדריד, 4 שעות המתנה ועוד 13 שעות לבואנוס איירס אם אתם שואלים...) הגענו שמחים ומאושרים אל חיק המשפחה הארגנטינאית של דניאל. היינו בשוק הפשפשים, אכלנו סטייק, וחזרנו לישון סייסטה לפני ארוחת החג.
אז חוץ מזה שהרושם הראשוני נהדר המזג אוויר מושלם, קר בדיוק כמו שאני אוהבת! באופן רשמי זה אביב ומחכים פה לקיץ, מה שאומר שבחנויות יש סייל על כל בגדי החורף (כמה מגניב זה!) ולכן יש לי תקווה למצוא פריטי חורף מוצלחים במחירים טובים, הרשימה למעלה כנראה תישאר בגדר חלום.

After a very long flight (5 hrs to Madrid, 4 hrs of waiting and 13 hrs to Buenos Aires, if you want to know) we arrived to the open arms of Daniel's Argentinean family. Besides the great first impression I got from this pretty city, the weather is perfect! cold just the way I like it. It's spring now, thus all the winter clothes are on sale now!! (how cool is that?!) I really hope to find some good winter pieces in good prices while I'm dreaming in the list above.

אני אמנם לא מפליגה לשום מקום אבל השילוב הימאי משהו, של השמלה והווסט נראה לי כמו לבוש הולם לפוסט טרום טיסה. ביום שישי אני נוסעת עם דניאל, החבר שלי לבואנוס איירס. חוץ מזה שהוא הבחור הכי הכי שהכרתי, הוא גם ארגנטינאי. הוא נולד וגדל בבואנוס איירס ואני מאוד מתרגשת שסוף סוף תהיה לי את ההזדמנות להכיר את משפחתו וחבריו (מקצתם אמנם ביקרו בארץ בשנתיים האחרונות, אך את רובם טרם פגשתי) וכמובן לראות את הסביבה בה הוא גדל.

כבר זמן רב שאני שומעת נסים ונפלאות על בואנוס איירס וכעת תהיה לי ההזדנות להיווכח בכך בעצמי. אין לנו הרבה תכניות אבל ברור שאופנה חייבת להיות חלק מהסיפור. למזלי דניאל הוא בחור בעל טעם משובח, שגדל ועבד בין בדים ואריגים במפעל של אמו בו מייצרים בגדים, בעיקר ג'ינסים. דניאל כבר חשב עבורנו על כל מוקד משיכה אופנתי בעיר שעשוי לעניין אותי (כבר אמרתי שהוא גבר לעניין?) ועל כן בתכנית ביקור בשוק של מעצבי אופנה צעירים, ביקור בשכונה בה מוכרים בדים ומוצרי סדקית (מעין נחלת בנימין ענקית), ביקור בחנויות של מעצבי אופנה ארגנטינאיים מובילים וכמובן ביקור במפעל הביגוד המשפחתי.
חוץ מזה אנחנו מתכננים לנוח הרבה בחיק המשפחה, לבקר הרבה אצל הסבא והסבתא, לאכול המון בשר ואלפחורס, להתארח בחתונה (האמת שיש שתיים - אבל הן של אותו זוג) ואולי גם לישון קצת.

דניאל הוא זה המצלם עבורי את רב התמונות לבלוג ולכן מובטחים עדכונים שוטפים מבואנוס איירס. אני כרגע במצב התרגשות מתקדם וגם נוטה קצת ללחץ לפני טיסה, אם יצא אני אעדכן פעם נוספת לפני יום שישי ואם לא אז שנה טובה!

This Friday I'm flying along with Daniel, my boyfriend, to Buenos Aires. Besides being the best guy ever, Daniel is also Argentinian, born and raised. I'm really exited to finally have the chance to meet all of his family and friends and see his neighberhood and the places where he grew up.

For the past two years I keep hearing amazing stories about Buenos Aires, now I'll have the chance to see it myself. We don't have many plans but of course fashion has to be part of the story. Luckily Daniel is a guy with a great taste, who grew up working between textiles fabrics in his mother's factory which manufactures clothes, especially jeans. Daniel had planed for us visits in every possible fashionable attraction (Did I mentioned how great he is?) and so the plan includes a visit at a market of indie fashion designers, a visit at the neighborhood where they sell fabrics and haberdashery products, a visit at the shops of leading Argentinean fashion designers and of course a visit in the family clothing factory.

Besides that we plan to spend time with the family, to visit the grandparents, eat a lot of meat and cookies, to be at a wedding (actually we are invited to two - but it's the same couple) and maybe get some sleep as well.
Daniel is the one who takes most of the pics for my blog so for sure I'll keep update from Buenos Aires.
